Since 1999, the Federation has been committed to promoting good employment practices through the launch of the Guide to Good Employment Practices. Over the years, the Guide has been expanded to cover the entire employee journey—from recruitment to retirement—and now includes numerous case studies showcasing best practices in real workplace settings.

This year, the Federation is proud to introduce “The Good Employer Award 2026”, reinforcing our ongoing efforts to advocate for and recognize exemplary employment practices.

The initiative is built on two key components:

1. Good Employer Certificate（好僱主證書）

This certificate establishes the foundational criteria for being recognised as a good employer. It focuses on six core parameters:

•         Fair employment

•         Well-being and work-life balance

•         Employee engagement

•         Development & growth

•         DEI

•         Digital transformation

Organisations must demonstrate the implementation of relevant practices. Only those that meet the prescribed standards will be awarded the certificate.

2. Leading Employer Award（卓越僱主大獎）

This award honors exceptional practices that inspire continuous excellence. Applicants selected for a specific award category must provide evidence of their initiatives and showcase an outstanding project in that area.

This year, six award categories have been identified:

•      Total Awards

•      Employee Engagement

•      Workplace Wellness

•      Career Development

•      DEI & CSR

•      Digital Engagement

Applications for both the Good Employer Certificate and the Leading Employer Award will open in early October. We strongly encourage all members to participate. Be sure to follow our upcoming announcements so you don’t miss the details!
