Data Collection and Use

During the process of delivering web pages to visitors of our web site, the service provider of the Employers' Federation of Hong Kong ( the "Federation") will make a record of your visit such as the internet service provider you use to connect to the internet, your web browser type, or the type of computer operating system you use. Such information is used by the Federation for learning how we can better serve the needs of our users; for systems administration, and for measuring the effectiveness of site content.

Personal Data is collected from our site visitors on a voluntary basis: completing an online application, order form, feedback or survey. The Personal Data may include names, addresses, email addresses, contact telephone numbers, etc. The information is used by us for the purposes stated on the respective screens on which we request for the provision of your personal data. The Personal Data will not be used for any other purposes without your consent unless such use is permitted or required by law.

Security

All Personal Data you provide to us is secured. Access is limited to authorised personnel within the Federation only. The transmission of any information online is not secured by encryption. The Federation cannot be responsible for the use of email messages sent to any recipients other than the Federation via the web site's email hyperlinks.
