The Federation will kick off a new round of “Company Visit” and the first company to be visited is The Hong Kong Aero Engine Services Limited.

Founded in 1997 as a joint venture by Rolls-Royce plc and HAECO (a Swire company), HAESL provide world-class aero engine and component repair services to many of the world’s most respected airlines.

During the visit, visitors will have an opportunity to see the actual Rolls Royce aircraft engine up-close with an introduction to the basics of aircraft engine operations. There will be guided tour to two main components of HAESL: Engine Overhaul and Component Repair Department, to understand the basics of aircraft engine operations and some highly specialised machinery and processes that contribute to the high degrees of accuracy and safety.
